This system is owned by the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute. The Abberior Facility Line system is a cutting-edge, high-end 3-D STED super-resolution imaging system capable of providing 40 nm isotropic resolution in samples up to 70 µm thick - xy down to 25nm.
- Adaptive Illumination (RESCue, DyMIN and MINFIELD) provides less phototoxicity and drastically reduces photobleaching.
- Adaptive Optics System with Deformable Mirror makes super-resolution imaging possible in deep tissues.
- Objectives: 60X (NA1.42 WD 0.15mm) oil; 60X (NA1.20 WD 0.28mm) water; 60X (NA1.30 WD 0.30 mm) silicon.
- Lasers: 405 nm (confocal), 485 nm, 561 nm, 640 nm pulsed lasers (STED and confocal). 595 nm and 775 nm STED depletion STED lasers.
