Sign-up and Cancellation Policies

Sign-up is required for the use of the two TEMs, the SEM, and the South Campus ultramicrotome.

Online sign-up is available. 

Only users who have been approved by EMCF staff may sign-up. Approval is based on satisfactory completion of training on the instrument.

Lateness and Cancellation

If a user does not arrive within 30 minutes of their scheduled time, he or she may lose the reservation to another user.

Due to heavy use of the microscopes we require that you cancel sessions 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Failure to cancel will result in the user (or PI) being billed for the entire scheduled duration.
