Acknowledging Our Humanity
- GHHS is partnering with the student wellness center at UT Southwestern to encourage students to come together around personal experiences with mental health challenges.
- At the bi-annual event, faculty, residents, post-docs, and students will share stories of their personal experiences with mental health challenges, either by telling it themselves or by having another faculty member, resident, or student tell their story if they prefer to remain anonymous or do not want to speak in front of an audience.
- The goal is to foster more open dialogues about mental health and mental illness and promote an environment that encourages help-seeking.
