Costs

There is no tuition fee for the Prosthetics-Orthotics Residency Program. Residents are UT Southwestern Medical Center employees.

The Residency Program will cover the cost of educational programming and attendance at the annual meeting of the Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. You’ll also receive standard benefits, including full medical and liability insurance coverage, and accrued paid time off.

Textbooks, journal subscriptions, the application fee for student registration with the Texas Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics, and other costs will be your responsibility.

We can’t guarantee continued employment beyond the year.
