The field of immunology provides excellent opportunities for graduate training in the concepts and techniques of contemporary biomedical science. A faculty drawn from both basic science and clinical departments of UT Southwestern Medical School offers research training opportunities in a wide range of topics, including:

In the Immunology Graduate Program, students receive a broad-based education in the strategies and techniques of immunological research that prepares them well for a wide spectrum of career opportunities. The Immunology Graduate Program is part of the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
Educational Opportunities
The Excellence in Immunology Lecture Series, held weekly on campus, exposes students and faculty to a wide variety of topics in the field of immunology. Participation in selected journal clubs, seminars, and elective courses also provide an array of additional educational opportunities. Additionally, students present their research one to two times per year in a Works in Progress seminar held every Friday.
