Our residents are provided 16-18 weeks of elective time during their residency, allowing them ample time to explore, build specific skills, or dive deeper into specific clinical areas pertinent to family medicine. Residents can choose from a wide variety of options across our affiliated clinical settings, including UT Southwestern, Parkland, THD and our community and private practice partner sites.  In addition to selecting from electives that are already available, our residents continue to create new electives based on their interest. As a result, our list of elective offerings is always growing!
