Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Care
The clinics at UT Southwestern and the Dallas VA have been designated as MS Centers of Excellence. Additionally, our Transverse Myelitis program and Neuromyelitis Optica program are nationally recognized as comprehensive care centers by national advocacy organizations. Beyond providing primary services, our faculty have established subspecialty clinics that offer a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach to care.

Collaborative Services
We have numerous partners within UT Southwestern with whom we collaborate with to better serve our patients.
We regularly consult with the Neurosurgery department for brain biopsy planning.
In collaboration with Urology and Physiatry, we offer bladder management services and rehabilitation programs.
The Gait Disorders Clinic, situated in the School of Health Professions, employs cutting-edge equipment and methodology to systematically assess and address gait and balance issues, aiming to optimize walking capabilities in individuals with neurological conditions. They collect data from a computerized gait analysis mat equipped with sensors. The software support provided by the clinic establishes a database for each patient, validating progress and the effects of medical or therapeutic interventions over time, enabling our team to make informed decisions.
