Advanced Adult Structural Interventional Fellowship
This 12-month program is available to graduates of a fellowship program in interventional cardiology and provides one position annually. This advanced fellowship offers expert and dedicated training in structural and valvular heart disease from national leaders in the field. The program includes robust, hands-on training in various procedures including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, MitraClip and other mitral and tricuspid interventions, PFO/ASD closures, paravalvular leak closures, and left atrial appendage occlusion devices. Additionally, fellows participate in outpatient and inpatient longitudinal evaluation, and follow-up with patients in a multidisciplinary and collaborative fashion. Moreover, they have the opportunity to participate in meaningful quality improvement and research endeavors.
How to Apply
This position requires a Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or foreign equivalent from an approval school of medicine. Candidates applying for the fellowship program must be board eligible/certified within interventional cardiology.
