Fundamental to the mission of the Texas Institute for Brain Injury and Repair is community outreach and education. A topic gaining public interest is concussion due to sports-related injuries. Sports concussion experts at UT Southwestern have partnered with the Texas State Athletic Trainers’ Association to produce educational videos for patients and parents featuring information ranging from concussion assessment, clinical-care management, and return-to-play considerations.
