Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment, on purpose and without judgment. It is a practice that has been around since ancient times and is backed by over 40 years of scientific research documenting its benefits, including stress and anxiety reduction, increased attention and focus, and greater connection and compassion.

Come explore these benefits and learn how to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life. These sessions may include guided meditation, as well as other practices such as mindful movement, mindful eating, and mindful communication.

Mindfulness sessions will be held at least once a month, typically on a Sunday afternoon.

“Being with whatever arises, working with the tendencies of mind to transform them, and taking refuge in the ground of being are the essential practices of the path of awakening.” - Rick Hanson
