Student Disability Insurance

While UT Southwestern does not require students to have long-term disability insurance, it is very strongly recommended.

Here are three resources to consider:

• The American Medical Association offers disability insurance for medical students. 
• The Texas Medical Association offers disability insurance for medical students through the Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. Email to receive a brochure and application form. stuinfo@utsouthwestern.edu
• DoctorDisability is a broker for several national companies offering disability insurance to medical students.
