Rita Billups, Departmental Administrator
Rita manages and directs administrative business functions within the department and is responsible for financial accounting, personnel documentation, and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the office. She also serves on the Administrative Council committee for the School of Health Professions.

Lesli Brown, Senior Administrative Assistant
Lesli is the front office and telephone receptionist. Leslie supports the faculty, staff and students; providing information about the program and application process.

Opal Autry, Program Coordinator
Opal is responsible for oversight and management of ARC-PA standards B3 and C3 for the clinical side of the program. Opal assists with data collection and analysis of supervised clinical practices experiences, and with evaluation and quality control activities in both the clinical and didactic curriculum of the program.

Isela Perez, Sr. Education Coordinator
Isela manages the student recruitment and application process. She also assists with the pre-clinical curriculum and class registration for Summer l.

Anthony Ballard, Education Assistant
Anthony assists in the development of clinical preceptorship sites, related affiliation agreements, and assignments of students to their clinical sites. He also manages the preparation of examination documents, scoring, and related database maintenance.

Christopher Long, Education Assistant
Chris manages the didactic curriculum to include semester scheduling, course evaluations (administering and compiling results), exam posting/proctoring and preparation of materials for Group Leaders. He also coordinates the Class Officer elections.

Briana Pedroza, Clinical Site Coordinator
Briana recruits and retains supervised clinical practice experiences throughout the DFW area and the State of Texas. She maintains Affiliation Agreements and develops housing opportunities for locations outside of DFW for our students. She serves as a Liaison between the PA Department and Clinical Site Managers.

Heather Salinas, Project Manager and Clinical Coordinator
Heather is responsible for oversight of the clinical curriculum including its structure, organization, and implementation in accordance with ARC-PA standards. She monitors and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of instruction and clinical preceptors at all affiliated clinical sites. Heather serves as a point of contact for projects across the clinical phase of the program including the development of work plans, management of tasks and deliverables, and communication with team members and management.
