Emergency Medicine APP - Postgraduate Certificate
The Emergency Medicine APP Postgraduate Certificate program offers a focused one-year training experience for advanced practice providers in emergency medicine. Trainees rotate through high-volume adult and pediatric emergency departments, gaining exposure to diverse emergency medical conditions. Weekly didactic sessions align with the block curriculum. Under the guidance of experienced emergency medicine physicians and APP preceptors, trainees develop proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and emergent conditions, alongside procedural skills such as wound management and advanced airway techniques. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care, preparing graduates for effective practice in various emergency care settings.
