Pelvic floor musculature in the aged and multiparous rabbit model as surrogate for the management of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction in women.
This grant received an extension until 2024. Building on the results from this research on pelvic floor neurostimulation, a new R 01 grant is in preparation for submission in July 2024.

Defining the dynamics of urobiome structure and function in postmenopausal women and its role in recurrent UTI susceptibility
This grant is actively recruiting women with recurrent urinary tract infections. The control group, namely women who never experienced a Uti, has been fully enrolled. New microbiome data has been submitted as abstracts for the SUFU and EAU/AUA meetings in 2024.
