Our residents have an array of research interests and backgrounds. An M.D./Ph.D. is not required of residents in this track, only an interest in research. While some residents have received traditional M.D./Ph.D.s, others were involved in research during their undergraduate or medical educations. Some residents pursue basic science and benchtop research, while others are involved in translational and clinical studies.
