About

The Nature Masterclasses on-demand training modules are designed for flexible, on-demand learning at your own pace. With short lessons lasting 10–20 minutes, you can easily fit them into gaps in your schedule. Researchers have the freedom to choose their own learning path, whether that involves completing a course in sequence or exploring individual modules as needed.

The courses feature interactive elements, including in-lesson activities that keep you engaged and offer ample opportunities to practice new skills and concepts.

You’ll acquire techniques and strategies that will enhance your abilities and boost your confidence in a variety of key research tasks. These skills will not only benefit your daily work but also help you advance in your career.

How to access Nature Masterclasses

  1. Go to http://masterclasses.nature.com/register
  2. Select 'University of Texas Southwestern' from the drop-down menu.
  3. Fill in your profile details (don't forget to use your institutional email address ending in @utsouthwestern.edu).
  4. Review and accept our 'Privacy Policy'.
  5. Click the ‘Register’ button.
  6. Once done, check your inbox for a confirmation email from Nature Masterclasses. Simply open it up and click on the verification link.
