Eligibility and Process
Candidates will have completed a radiation oncology residency from an ACGME-accredited residency program or equivalent and be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas. International graduates are required to train under a J-1 visa sponsored by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and must possess a valid ECFMG certificate to be eligible for consideration. At least one year of clinical training in the United States is preferred.
A fellowship appointment is contingent upon obtaining a full license, which is required by the Texas Medical Board.
The fellowship has a total of two slots available. Applicants must send:
- Photo
- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement, including reasons of interest, training expectations, and practice expectations
- Three letters of reference from supervisors in the last year
- Original medical school transcript
- USMLE 1, 2CK, 2CS, and 3 or COMLEX 1, 2CE, 2PE, and 3
