  • Abstract Submission Guidelines
    • Eligibility
      • Internal Medicine Residents and Interns including PSTP, Med-Peds and Med-Psych
      • Internal Medicine GME Clinical Fellows
      • Internal Medicine Non-GME Fellows
      • Internal Medicine Postdoctoral Researchers
      • MSTP Students
    • Free abstract submission
    • Free poster printing for participants
    • Great opportunity to network and present your work
    • Limited to three first author submissions with more being considered on a case-by-case basis space permitting
    • Abstract submissions should be no longer than 350 words and should not contain any tables, graphics or images.

    Research and QI abstracts should have the following sections headings

    • Background
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions

    Clinical Vignettes should have the following section headings

    • Discussion
  • Poster Submission Guidelines

    Links are available with UTSW login credentials.

    • Posters (Powerpoint files only) should be submitted by end of day March 10, 2025. Any posters submitted after the date will be printed in the order it is received. 
    • The display area will be 48 inches tall by 48 inches wide. Your poster should fit within the display area. We recommend a 42x44 poster template. Download templates from the IM Poster Printing Service site.
    • Include your poster number in the file name example: 001-lastname.pptx
    • Upload poster files here using your UT Southwestern MS Office account.
    • Please put logos of all institutions involved in your poster when applicable.
    • These uploaded posters will be printed and hung on the displays for you as well as used for the online version of the Symposium. 
    • Any participants who are presenting posters used at previous events and do not require printing services will still need to upload the poster file for the website. Use the following file naming convention: 001-lastname-noprint.pptx
