  • Abstract Submission Guidelines
    • As an institutional conference designed to celebrate the scholarly work of our trainees, the Seldin Symposium welcomes abstracts that have been submitted to, accepted by, or presented at other conferences. Work that will be submitted to or presented at external scientific meetings is also welcome for presentation at Seldin, with consideration of specific policies associated with those meetings.

      • Internal Medicine Residents and Interns including PSTP, Med-Peds and Med-Psych
      • Internal Medicine GME Clinical Fellows
      • Internal Medicine Non-GME Fellows
      • Internal Medicine Postdoctoral Researchers
      • MSTP Students
    • Free abstract submission
    • Free poster printing for participants
    • Great opportunity to network and present your work
    • Limited to three first author submissions with more being considered on a case-by-case basis space permitting
    • Abstract submissions should be no longer than 350 words and should not contain any tables, graphics or images.

  • Poster Submission Guidelines

    Links are available with UTSW login credentials.

    • Submission Deadline
      • Poster files (PowerPoint format only) should be submitted by end of day March 22, 2026.
      • Posters submitted after this date will be printed in the order they are received.
    • Poster Dimensions
      • The physical display area measures 48 inches (height) × 48 inches (width).
      • To ensure proper fitting, a poster size of 42 × 42 inches is recommended.
    • Accessibility Requirements
    • File Naming Convention
      • Include your assigned poster number in the file name using the following format: 001-lastneame.pptx
      • Participants reusing posters from previous events and not requiring printing services must still upload their file for online display, using: 001-lastname-noprint.pptx
    • File Upload Instructions
      • Upload all poster files using your UT Southwestern Microsoft Office account at the designated submission link.
      • All uploaded posters will be:
        • Printed and hung by education office personel for in-person display (unless marked noprint), and
        • Included in the online Symposium.
