How to Apply
Application Deadline: October 1
The UT Southwestern Medical Toxicology fellowship program accepts two fellows per year through the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We participate in the National Resident Matching Program and applicants must participate as well. Please apply through ERAS to complete the application process. Following a review of the application materials, selected candidates will be invited to participate in the interview process.
Application Process
Fellowship application requirements include completion of the ERAS application and National Matching Program registration.
In addition, applicants must provide:
- United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) scores (Steps 1-3)
- Current Curriculum Vitae
- Personal statement
- Recent headshot
- Reference letters (3 minimum, one of which must be from a program director)
- Copy of board certificates (if any)
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate (foreign medical graduates only)
- J1 visa (foreign medical graduates only)

The application timeline for this fellowship is:
- June 2023
Application submission window opens - July 2023 through October 2023
Interviews (virtual and/or in-person) - August 16, 2023
NRMP registration opens for candidates and programs - October 1, 2023
Application submission deadline - October 25, 2023
NRMP Rank Order List Certification deadline - November 8, 2023
Match Day - July 1, 2024
