Medical Education in Emergency Medicine Fellowship Didactics

Over the course of this one-year program, fellows experience the curriculum through a variety of didactics, providing the building blocks for a career in medical education.

These didactics include:

• Mentoring toward a career in academic emergency medicine with a particular focus on graduate medical education leadership
• Formal education on research methodology, especially relative to education scholarship and education research
• Sound foundation in theoretical and applied teaching to enhance and elevate educational offerings at the core program and the fellowship level
• Formal leadership training in preparation for an academic career
