How to Apply

The UT Southwestern Emergency & Disaster Global Health Fellowship Program accepts up to two fellows per year. We participate in the National Resident Matching Program and applicants must participate as well.
Fellows are permitted to moonlight and must be appointed as Assistant Instructors with the prior approval of the Chair.
Application Process
Fellowship application requirements include completion of the Department application form and National Matching Program registration.
In addition, applicants must provide:
- United States Medical Licensing Examination (Steps 1-3)
- Current Curriculum Vitae
- Personal statement
- Recent headshot
- Reference letters (3 minimum, one of which must be from a program director)
- Copy of board certificates (if any)
- Medical School certificate
- Medical licenses (if any)

Application submission deadline - October 2024
Virtual interviews - July 1, 2025
