Emergency Medical Services Fellowship Program
The UT Southwestern Emergency Medical Services Fellowship Program is an ACGME-accredited one-year program for residency-trained physicians offered in conjunction with the Department of Emergency Medicine and the UT Southwestern/Parkland BioTel EMS System.
Completion of a master’s-level graduate training is an optional component of this multidisciplinary fellowship program.

- BioTel (responds to more than 300,000 EMS incidents annually)
- El Centro College (trains most of the paramedics in North Texas)
- UT Southwestern School of Health Professions
- Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas (BioTel sees about 80,000 injuries each year)
- Parkland Hospital Victim Intervention Program (receives more than 1,000 annual cases)
- North Texas Poison Control Center (provides more than 72,000 annual consults)
- Dallas/Fort Worth CareFlite (serves 5.8 million in DFW)
