Disabled Vehicles (24/7)
UT Southwestern Medical Center Public Safety Officers can help if you have a dead battery or have locked your keys inside your vehicle. Call 214-648-8311 and give your name, vehicle description, vehicle license plate number, and location. The responding officer will bring a liability release form, which is required for service. Officers are not permitted to unlock vehicles that have power door locks.
If you arrange to have your personal vehicle towed, please contact the University Police at 214-648-8311 and advise the Department that you have made personal towing arrangements.
Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting services are currently free of charge to UT Southwestern Medical Center faculty, staff, students, and their families. You must present valid identification. Fingerprinting is available from 1–4:30 p.m. weekdays.
Lost and Found
Turn lost property over to any University public safety officer or bring it to the police station, which is located in the Campus Police Station - BE Building, 6010 Forest Park, Suite 100, on the North campus. The public entrance is located via the glass entrance closest to Forest Park.
If you have lost an item, contact the University Police at 214-648-8311.
The Health Sciences Digital Library and Learning Center and Bryan Williams, M.D. Student Center also maintain lost-and-found collections and routinely turn the items over to the Police Department.
Security Escort Services (24/7)
For safety, officers will walk with anyone to any location on or near campus. To request an escort, call 214-648-8311. Give the dispatcher your name, phone extension, and where you'd like the officer to meet you.
