Workers’ Compensation Insurance
The Workers’ Compensation Insurance program provides certain benefits to faculty and staff of UT Southwestern who suffer injuries or occupational diseases while in the course and scope of their employment.
How to Report an Injury
All injuries are reported to The Office of Safety and Business Continuity, Risk & Insurance Services via Electronic First Report of Injury (eFRI). If the impacted faculty or staff member is unable to complete the eFRI, supervisors/managers should complete it on their behalf within 24 hours of being notified of the injury.
What Happens Next
Once the injury is reported, you will receive a confirmation email from RL Solutions. If you do not receive a confirmation, then you did not successfully complete the eFRI. Please feel free to direct any questions about the reporting process to Risk & Insurance Services at 214-648-2250 or WorkersCompensation@UTSouthwestern.edu.
