Interns are placed in clinical, administrative or research positions for 9-10 weeks beginning in June and ending at the end of the first week in August across various departments at UT Southwestern. This program introduces interns to multiple workplace experiences in healthcare such as research initiatives, project management, facilitation, clinical care, and a range of other work that is being done in their host department. At the end of the program, interns present their experiences during a poster session at the closing ceremony.
