Cardiology Fellowship Programs
UT Southwestern’s cardiology fellowships provide trainees with exciting opportunities to advance their knowledge and careers, and the field of medicine itself.
Our clinical programs emphasize state-of-the-art clinical training with excellent volumes and faculty supervision, integrated with didactic instruction and innovative research. Postdoctoral research fellows will find a broad range of training opportunities in several laboratories, with the major focus on cardiomyocyte biology.

Program Goals
- Develop leaders in cardiology who will generate new knowledge, implement innovative practices, and advance education locally, nationally, and internationally.
