This message was sent to all campus from Human Resources.

Our HR team is here to support you in every element of your experience as a UTSW employee. As tax preparation season begins, we want to ensure you know how to access your W-2 Federal Wage and Tax Statement.

Accessing your electronic W-2 through PeopleSoft

Beginning today, all active employees have access to download their electronic W-2s through PeopleSoft by following the instructions below:

  • Log in to PeopleSoft (on-campus network or VPN connection required).
  • On the top left of the page, access the drop-down menu, and select “Employee Self Service (ESS).”
  • Select the “Payroll” tile.
  • Select “View W-2/W-2c Forms.”

Receiving a paper copy of your W-2

If you created an account on the ADP website or mobile app and chose to only receive an electronic copy of your W-2, or elected to receive an electronic copy of your W-2 through PeopleSoft, you will not receive a paper copy in the mail. All other active employees will receive a paper copy in the mail.

Leader resource for terminated employees

W-2s for terminated employees have been sent to the mailing address on file. If the employee’s address has changed, they will need to HR@utsouthwestern.edu HR at “HR@utsouthwestern.edu” and provide an updated address for a W-2 reissue request, which will be processed after Feb. 7.

Need help?

If you have any questions or need assistance with your W-2 or anything else related to Human Resources, please HR@utsouthwestern.edu HR or call us at 214-648-9810.
