Join UT Southwestern’s Faculty Wellness team and the Office for Institutional Opportunity for a series of virtual and in-person events that will offer educational resources and thoughtful conversations in support of mental health and wellness. This year’s theme for these events is Empowerment Through Authenticity: Opening the Door for Personal Growth and Resilience. Attendance is open to all faculty, staff, and learners. Business Resource Group (BRG) Panel
July 9, noon–1 p.m.

At this virtual event, representatives from UTSW’s BRGs will explore how embracing authenticity fosters personal growth and resilience within our communities.

Keynote Address With Joseph Guillory, M.D.

UT Southwestern psychiatrist Joseph Guillory, M.D., will present “Holding Steady: How to Create and Share Space for Yourself and Others,” a webinar dedicated to mental health across different communities. The talk will provide participants with practical strategies for maintaining well-being, cultivating personal growth, and strengthening connections.

Mental Health Awareness Panel Discussion
July 25, noon–1 p.m.

Join the Office of Faculty Wellness and the Office for Institutional Opportunity as we delve into the benefits of vulnerability, including improved mental well-being and greater job satisfaction. This panel discussion will explore how fostering authenticity and resilience can lead to a more inclusive, supportive, and productive work environment.
