Flu shots for the 2024-25 flu season

In preparation for the 2024 influenza season, here are some early details about when and where flu shots will be available. UT Southwestern employees will have access to the annual vaccine from Sept. 16 through Nov. 1, by appointment, as scheduled through Occupational Health’s ReadySet platform. Scheduling is available now.

Vaccinations will be administered at the following locations:

Clements University Hospital (CUH), Lecture Hall (UH2.138)

  • Sept. 16-20, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Sept. 21, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Sept. 23-27, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Zale Lipshy Pavilion, patient holding area (ZL0.404)

  • Oct. 2, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Administrative

  • Oct. 7, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Pegasus conference room LP03.108
  • Oct. 8, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Brookriver conference room L801.109
  • Oct. 9, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Empire Central LD1.312 OMFS conference room

North Campus: Cancer Care Outpatient Building, NG3 Commons Area

  • Oct. 10, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

West Campus: Professional Office Building 1 (POB1), conference room HA1.100

  • Oct. 1-Nov. 1, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

In addition to the locations listed above, shots will be provided at our regional medical centers through ReadySet. For details, please see the full list of dates and locations.

You’ll find more information, including tip sheets and step-by-step scheduling instructions, on UTSW’s flu webpage. “High-dose” formulations for individuals 65 years and older will be offered as well. Students will receive a separate communication about flu vaccination from Student Health.

As a reminder, UT Southwestern policy (HSO-203: Influenza Vaccination) requires that all faculty, staff, house staff, and students working or training within our University Hospital and clinics, or at any UTSW or affiliated clinical research sites or locations, receive an influenza vaccination or provide written notice to Occupational Health that they decline to be vaccinated for medical, religious, or personal reasons.
