Interior demolition begins at former Parkland Memorial Hospital

Work on the former Parkland Memorial Hospital begins this week, and connections with three neighboring UT Southwestern buildings are being sealed off in preparation with crews installing walls for dust control.

Interior abatement and demolition at Parkland will start on these dates across the wall from these buildings:

• Today – James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center (U)
• July 3 – Charles Cameron Sprague Clinical Science Building (CS)
• July 6 – Dan Danciger Research Building (H)
• July 7 – Children's Medical Center Dallas (CM)

No demolition work will occur at our three UTSW sites; however, staff, and visitors should expect some noise during the project. Contractors are finalizing a noise, dust, and vibration plan that will minimize distractions.
