Update on the Values in Practice employee engagement pulse survey
We’ve reached the midway point of our Values in Practice (VIP) employee engagement pulse survey. Our overall response rate is 46%, and we need your help in encouraging your team’s participation through email and in team meetings and huddles to ensure every voice is heard.
Because of the recent surge of the COVID-19 Omicron variant and the challenges it has put on your employees’ well-being, we recognize that this is a particularly important survey. The VIP survey helps us as an organization put our values – excellence, innovation, teamwork, and compassion – into daily practice, and feedback from your team members enables us to act on suggestions and opportunities. Together, this is how we grow and improve as an institution and carry out our mission – and frankly, it’s what makes organizations like Forbes rank UT Southwestern among America’s top 10 employers.
Please check out the following tips and resources to better engage your teams and drive participation before the survey ends on Sunday, Feb. 27.

We're checking our 'pulse' for progress
The next Values in Practice (VIP) employee engagement survey pulse is from Feb. 15-27. The survey will take 3-5 minutes to complete and includes questions around the same engagement items as the June 2021 VIP survey giving leaders a gauge on progress. (Managers: The Glint survey dashboard will be closed during the survey window and will reopen once it concludes for those teams with five or more responses.)
We recognize this is a particularly important pulse survey because of the current COVID-19 environment and the challenges it has put on our operations and employees’ well-being. Thank you for letting your team know that you appreciate their input during this challenging time.
