Video: Protecting you from violence in the workplace

Safety is, and always will be, a top priority at UT Southwestern. As violence against health care workers has risen nationwide, UT Southwestern has launched a multi-year initiative to step up training to enhance security for workers across the institution.

Last week, members of the Health System received an important email message about their safety on the job. This week we’re introducing a video in which several UT Southwestern leaders underscore our campus commitment. The video, which is introduced by UTSW President Daniel K. Podolsky, M.D., also features John Warner, M.D., Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs, Susan Hernandez, D.N.P., M.B.A., RN, Chief Nurse Executive, Will Daniel, M.D., Vice President and Chief Quality Officer, and others.
