Video: Welcoming the ANCC Magnet appraisal team to campus

The four-day site visit by the Magnet® appraisal team from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) concluded on Friday, July 9. The group was here as part of our application for the redesignation of UT Southwestern’s status as a Magnet organization.

At the Tuesday morning start of the virtual site visit, appraisers were greeted via Zoom by Chief Nurse Executive Dr. Susan Hernandez and UT Southwestern President Dr. Daniel K. Podolsky. Pride continued to build as they watched a special “welcome” video that illustrates the motto of our nursing team: “Excellence is our starting point … not our finish line.” View the video below.
