Each year, UTSW’s employees nominate and elect members of the Employee Advisory Council (EAC) – a group built to enhance communication, promote employee commitment, and build community among our staff.
The council meets regularly to discuss issues of significant interest to employees, and UTSW President Dr. Daniel K. Podolsky meets with them periodically to garner feedback. EAC members are continuously brainstorming ways to enhance employee engagement through communication, recognition, and events.
Now it’s time for you to choose who you would like to represent you on the EAC; FY2022 nominations are open through July 23.
UTSW employees nominate and elect EAC representatives within their district. Elected members will receive up to 10 hours per month of paid work time to participate in council meetings and activities.
To be eligible for election, members must have been regular employees in good standing for a minimum of two years and must confirm with their supervisors that they can participate without disruption to their department’s operation.
For more information, check out the nomination and voting criteria on the Employee Advisory Council website.
Nominate someone today! Elections will begin later in July.
