No shortage of holiday cheer

The Employee Advisory Council has one holiday wish – for UTSW employees to enjoy the season despite the challenges we face. Therefore, the EAC has put together a bounty of activities to bring us together as a UTSW family.

  • The EAC is still looking for donors for the Carter BloodCare blood drive on Dec. 9. If you’re looking for a way to give this holiday, this is an easy way to do so, as two on-campus locations will be available throughout the day. We know you don’t need more motivation, but here’s some anyway: Anyone who donates through Carter BloodCare through Jan. 10 will be entered to win a 2020 Chevrolet Trax. We hear cars are cool, especially when they’re free.
  • One thing that’s never in short supply throughout the holidays – recipes (and ways to screw them up… ahem… where’s that oven cleaner?). Calling all decent cooks! The EAC’s “All Kinds of Yum” recipe share invites you to submit your favorite seasonal family recipe, along with your story behind it. Submit your recipe, story, and photos to eac@utsouthwestern.edu by Dec. 31. Department administrators: Check out this printable flyer.
  • Let’s decorate so hard that we’re still digging tinsel out of our ears when January hits. Decorate your workspace – on campus or at home – and submit your photos to eac@utsouthwestern.edu by Dec. 31. We’ll put it up to a vote, and give UTSW swag prizes for most creative, most festive, and the best theme. Department administrators: Check out this printable flyer.
