Southwestern Medical District mobility survey
The Southwestern Medical District (SWMD) is growing – with more than 35,000 employees including UT Southwestern, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and Children’s Health – and more patients and visitors are traveling here every day. Moving people safely and easily is important to keeping pace with this growth.
The SWMD is interested in how employees get to the District and how they move around within it. The District, in partnership with member institutions – the City of Dallas, DART, North Central Texas Council of Governments, Shared-Use Mobility Center (SUMC), and Toyota’s Social Innovation Team – seeks to glean information about how people use currently available transportation (i.e., shuttles, public transport, personal vehicles, car pools) and what they’d like to see in the future.
To this end, the SWMD, SUMC, and Toyota have prepared a short survey for UT Southwestern employees. The survey – available through July 18 – should take about five minutes to complete and will give you the opportunity to provide feedback on current shuttle, parking, and other mobility systems throughout the Southwestern Medical District.
The survey results will be used to evaluate the travel needs and desires of employees, helping to guide future decisions regarding transportation priorities and next steps for the SWMD.
Thank you for your participation.
