The Check It Out visual is intended to grab your attention and entice you to look closer. Perhaps an image speaks to you. Perhaps one illustrates an interest, hobby, or passion. Or perhaps it is nothing more than innate curiosity: Why is there a fortune cookie, deck of cards, assortment of coins, origami Yoda?
When we look closer, dig deeper, and explore further, we allow ourselves to alter our perspective in what we thought we knew. We usher in a new way of thinking about something. We allow ourselves, even for a brief moment, to ask the question, "What if there is another way of doing something?"
Let this visual stand for the inherent curiosity in us all. May it remind us that our opinions were once set in stone. Until we learned that other way. Until our attention was grabbed. Until we took that second look and checked out what could be.
