Asian-Pacific Islander Business Resource Group added through the Office of Institutional Equity & Access
UT Southwestern serves a very diverse population throughout North Texas, and the institution aims to attract a campus community that reflects that diversity.
The Office of Institutional Equity & Access announces the addition of the Asian-Pacific Islander Business Resource Group to continue advancements in diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement. Business Resource Groups (BRGs) serve to provide a source of support for fellow colleagues, foster career development, and promote cultural sensitivity in the workplace.
"It has been one of the highlights of my onboarding to work with the Business Resource Groups and see the influence and impact the members have on the culture of UT Southwestern Medical Center," said Janelle Browne, Vice President for Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer. "The addition of the Asian-Pacific Islander BRG promises to bring another level of energy and focus to our organization. I am looking forward to working with the dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who have advocated and made possible this new BRG."
The Asian-Pacific Islander BRG’s leadership team (pictured) consists of:
- Archana Cronjaeger, AVP of Hospital Facilities Administration (Executive Sponsor)
- Sunil Verma, Clinical Research Coordinator (Chair)
- Mia Dinh, Financial Analyst II (Co-Chair)
- Vaishali Patel, Sr. Business Analyst (Co-Chair)
