PeopleSoft 9.2: Employee Self Service features and saving your bookmarks

While Project Reboot impacts some employees more than others, it provides enhancements for everyone.

First, the new Employee Self Service (ESS) features in PeopleSoft 9.2 make it easier to check leave balances, find paycheck stubs, and make updates to important personal information such as demographics and emergency contacts. Learn about these features and more before PeopleSoft 9.2 goes live on Sept. 1 by signing up for training in Taleo Learn with keyword “Reboot ESS.” This class is available in person and online.

Second, make sure you know how to move your PeopleSoft bookmarked Favorites from 9.1 to 9.2. PeopleSoft Favorites allow users to keep a personal list of links to frequently used pages within the system. Favorites are similar to standard browser bookmarks for frequently accessed folders and content.

The navigation of PeopleSoft is changing in 9.2, which will require the manual creation of new Favorites. The guidance below demonstrates how to capture your Favorites in 9.1 and create new ones in 9.2.
