How to navigate the new MyUTSW

UT Southwestern is days away from the first round of refreshing the look and feel of MyUTSW, the campus intranet. The project, a collaborative effort between Communications and Information Resources, is part of a multi-phased project to enhance our digital platforms and better connect the UT Southwestern community.

While the front door may look different, all the content you see today will still be there after the refresh – crisper, cleaner, and more accessible. Links have been consolidated into three buckets underneath the link icon in the top navigation.

Under the link icon, find links to common tools such as PeopleSoft, Outlook, and the phone directory.

Quick Links provides direct access to high-traffic pages such as ACE, Brand Standards, and Project Reboot.

On the UTSW Sites tab, find links to all institutional websites including utsouthwestern.edu, utswmed.org, and the library.

These aren’t the only ways to find the information you need from the home page. Project Reboot, the Policy Library, PeopleSoft, and Brand Standards are spotlighted with icons in the box at the top right. Click on the golden icons to go directly to those sites.

The Quick Links box moved from the left to the right side of the page – as did the A-Z listing and the master calendar.

The home page will continue to evolve as Communications and IR prepare to launch an online version of Center Times in mid-August 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
