Food trucks rolling in to offer more lunch options for UTSW community
Get ready to rumble (just your stomach) as food trucks prepare to make their way onto campus.
On Sept. 12, UT Southwestern will introduce a food truck pilot program to provide four extra dining options each week; they’ll be available Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m-2 p.m.
“We have been listening to the employees and students, and we think this will be a great addition to food services on campus,” said Justin Arrington, Assistant Director for Auxiliary Enterprises.
Food trucks will be stationed at North and South Campus, and vendors accept cash and debit/credit cards, although cards are preferred. The rotating schedule will be available after kick-off on the Food Services page to view which food truck sounds best for lunch that day.
Food truck locations:
North Campus – Simmons Rose Garden (entrance to NB building, off Record Crossing)
South Campus – Student parking lot #4 (near student garage #3, across from the tennis court)
