2019 DART Pass application period, Nov. 12-16
Parking Services will begin accepting Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Pass applications for 2019 on Monday, Nov. 12. Applications are due no later than 11:59 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16.
While DART has increased prices for 2019, we are pleased to inform you costs to UT Southwestern employees and students will remain the same. The institution continues to provide subsidies to full-time employees based on salary and the type of DART pass purchased. By purchasing a DART pass through UTSW, employees and students can save an average of more than 50 percent of the standard price. Part-time employees are able to purchase a DART pass at Level C rates.
Payroll deductions will be made on a pre-tax basis over a 12-month period, beginning Jan. 1, 2019. Priority processing will be given to those who meet the deadline. Applications received after Nov. 16 will not be guaranteed delivery prior to Jan. 1, 2019.
Online application
The quickest and easiest way to register for your 2019 DART pass is to complete the application online:

Click on “Permits” at the top and select “Get Permits” from the drop-down menu |

Follow the prompts. All information pertaining to DART will be in green text. |

When selecting your DART pass type, please carefully read the “Permit Description.” |

Step 5: |
If you wish to pay via payroll deduction, select “PAYROLL DEDUCTION” from the “Select Payment Method” menu in the “View Cart” section. |

Step 6: |
Click the “Pay Now” button. If you selected “PAYROLL DEDUCTION,” you will not be deducted the full amount. You will have 12 monthly payroll deductions. If you elect to pay via credit card, there will be a one-time charge to your card. |

Step 7: |
To log out, click on your name at the top of the page, then click “Logout” |
If you do not prefer the online application, please complete a paper application for your desired DART pass type:
- For a Hard Pass (physical), complete the DART Hard Pass application.
- For a GoPass (virtual pass on your smart phone), please complete the DART GoPass application.
- For a Student pass, please complete the Student DART Pass application.

Mesquite Compass decal
The Mesquite Compass decal includes service from Hanby Stadium to Lawnview Green Line station. If you would like to add this service to your DART Local pass, you have the option to purchase this decal at $1,000 directly from DART. Parking Services will provide you with the form needed to take to DART.
DART GoPass
You may also take advantage of DART’s mobile GoPass. This allows you to download your annual pass to your iPhone or Android smart phone. Your pass will be activated on Jan. 1, 2019.
