Internet of Things (IoT) is a term for everyday devices that contain software, sensors, and network connectivity. These devices can collect data, analyze it and act on the results if necessary. Your data may be stored on the device or sent to a cloud storage provider.

Examples include:

  • Amazon Echo, Google Home, smart TVs, home security systems
  • Thermostats, light fixtures, coffee makers, refrigerators
  • Smart watches, exercise equipment, smart scales, home health monitors

Don’t leave your devices open to a hacker.
