Faculty Community Meet-ups

Faculty Wellness and Engagement is coming to you—right where you live. Led by Jaime Harry, LCSW, these informal gatherings are designed to foster connection among UTSW faculty in local communities. All it takes is a faculty champion in your area who’s interested in hosting a meet-up at a nearby park, restaurant, or sports center. We’ll help launch the first event with you, and from there, faculty can continue meeting independently.

Faculty Engagement Survey, Debriefing, and Action Planning

Your feedback drives our strategy—and your wellbeing is our priority. At Faculty Wellness and Engagement, we believe that listening to faculty is only the first step—taking action is what truly matters.
- Survey Frequency Adjusted: Based on your input, we now conduct the faculty engagement survey every two years.
- Direct Debriefing: We meet with faculty locally to review results, hear concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Action Commitment: We partner with department chairs and division chiefs to commit to at least one actionable item based on your feedback.
- Ongoing Support: We work with local leadership to help implement and sustain the chosen action item over the following year.
- Follow-Up Survey: We re-survey to assess progress and ensure that changes are making a difference.
