Our mission is to ensure that all faculty have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to excel in their chosen career path.

Faculty Affairs

Our Faculty Affairs team handles all faculty actions such as generating Letters of Intent, processing Memorandum of Understanding, approving track changes, and managing the promotion and tenure process.

Faculty Development

Our Faculty Development team provides faculty development and leadership programs for faculty at all levels. These programs include in-person workshops and courses as well as online courses for clinicians, educators, researchers, and leaders.

Faculty Wellness

Our Faculty Wellness team works to support faculty at a local level, provides self-care resources, and offers individual support and professional wellness coaching.

In her leadership role as Vice Provost and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Career Development, Dr. Alyssa Hasty and her team assist departments with procedures related to faculty recruiting, hiring, and promotions. In addition, they work to elevate the faculty experience by identifying needs, researching approaches taken by others, implementing new programs, and evaluating results. Throughout her career, Dr. Hasty has focused on excellence as a scientist, mentor, and leader. She enjoys connecting people to resources that promote their professional development and creating new resources as the needs of faculty evolve.
