Office of Medical Education

The Office of Medical Education (OME) supports Undergraduate Medical Education at UT Southwestern Medical Center for both students and faculty by offering services that promote the quality of instruction, curriculum delivery, student assessment and programmatic evaluation.

For Faculty

The OME helps faculty evaluate students’ clinical skills and assists with curriculum and instructional development. These services are available to Medical School faculty:

• Clinical Skills Evaluation
• Curriculum and Instruction Development and Evaluation

OME collects and analyzes an extensive volume of program level data that is used by course directors to drive continuous quality improvement of the curriculum.

OME faculty and staff (OME faculty/staff can also be contacted via Email or Teams) also maintain and administer the Learning Management System for the Medical School.
