Dai Chung, M.D.

Dai Chung, M.D., is the new executive vice chair of surgery, the chief of pediatric surgery, and senior vice president of surgical services at Children’s Health.

Dr. Chung comes to UT Southwestern from Vanderbilt University, where he served as its Carolyn Perot Rathjen Endowed Chair of Pediatric Surgery and director of the Center of Excellence in Neuroblastoma Research.

Dr. Chung has been continuously funded by the NIH since 2003 for his work in pediatric cancer.
