The Department of Surgery has expanded its presence by opening two clinics at Texas Health Presbyterian, in Dallas.

This year, the Department of Surgery expanded its presence by opening two clinics at a community hospital, Texas Health Presbyterian, in Dallas: the UT Southwestern Bariatric Surgery Clinic and the UT Southwestern Surgical Oncology Clinic.

Benjamin Schneider, M.D., is dividing his time, heading up both the new bariatric surgery clinic and the established bariatric practice on the UT Southwestern campus. Dr. Sara Hennessy is also dividing her time between the two clinics.

Patricio Polanco, M.D., is heading his surgical oncology clinic at Texas Health, while still practicing at the Simmons Cancer Center at UT Southwestern.
