Herbert J. Zeh, III, M.D., and Joseph Minei, M.D.

The division of burn, trauma and critical care has been changed to the division of general and acute care surgery. The division was officially renamed in September of 2017.

The name change comes with the secondary creation of a new division which combines colorectal, bariatric, and endocrine surgery and is called the GI/endocrine surgery division.

Joseph Minei, M.D., is the chief of the newly named general and acute care surgery division while Chair Herbert J. Zeh, III, M.D., is the chair of the GI/ endocrine surgery division.
