Imaging Metrics For Trials
About Us
Imaging Metrics for Trials (IM4T) provides on-demand RECIST reads for radiological diagnosis. Our radiologists utilize a software called MINT Lesion that enables them to analyze and document any findings that might be of concern in a patient’s screening or diagnostic imaging. To get a RECIST read for a patient on your study, you will submit a “study submission” form so that the study can be set up in MINT Lesion. Once your study has been set up you can submit a RECIST request form to our RADIM4T mailbox. Our team will pull the images request and send them to the radiologist for review. The radiologist will generate a report of their findings in MINT Lesion and this report will be returned to the study team within 24 hours of the clinical read. Our mission is to provide the highest quality on demand RECIST read reports to clinical trials investigators.

The UTSW Radiology Department’s Imaging Metrics for Trials (IM4T) group provides diagnostic imaging interpretation of cancer treatment response evaluation to internal and external researchers involved in cancer research studies that require response evaluation using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) and its variants.

*Notes
- Pricing is structured by tiers based on amount of effort required for assessment.
- Contact RADIM4T@UTSouthwestern.edu if you require assessment criteria not listed above. A new assessment criteria will be evaluated and priced on an individual basis by the Radiology Clinical Research Committee. A decision to support new criteria will be based on available reader expertise, number of trained readers, reporting software platform, and anticipated case volume.
- Tier 1 criteria listed in the table are expected to be completed by the end of the next business day following the request (requests made on Friday will be provided by the end of business day on Monday) or by the end of the business day following the clinical read, whichever is later. Due to availability of Nuclear Medicine readers, measurements requiring NM reads(*) will be returned as soon as a reader is available but may be delayed beyond the next-day turnaround time.
- Same day assessment (‘stat” measurements, only available for Tier 1 non-NM criteria) will be charged an additional $50 fee for industry sponsored research and $25 for other (e.g. NIH, cooperative, investigator-initiated trial).
- Protocols requiring two different criteria (e.g., RECIST and WHO) will be charged a separate fee based on the fee schedule above per criteria/time point. An exception is made for trials needing a RECIST and a RECIST-variant assessments (i.e. irRECIST, mRECIST), for which only one fee is applied per time point.
